The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is a must see event, even if you’re not a fan of race cars, you’ll really enjoy this grand spectacle!

Fans first learned of the new Formula One Racing Grand Prix at the 2007 F 1 racing festival held in Abu Dhabi early that year.

It was announced that the first race would be held in November on the newly designed and built Yas Marina Circuit, on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Fans were treated to the season finale race being held there with the race being the first ever day and night race in F1 history.

Right from the very beginning, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was destined for greatness and you can be a part of that greatness too, whenever you visit Abu Dhabi.

The race track features seating for more than 41,000 race fans and also includes a Ferrari World theme park. Yas Island also has several golf courses, restaurants, and hotels for accommodation when visiting the race track.

There is really only one big Grand Prix series race planned for each year (because the races all take place on different tracks around the world to keep it interesting) but all throughout the rest of the year there are many racing events that take place which will be of interest to you for sure. Even if there are no races going on, you can still visit the theme park and even the water park which is sure to be a blast especially if you have kids.

The Grand Prix is officially sponsored by Etihad Airways which is based from the Abu Dhabi International Airport and is the national airline of Abu Dhabi. They signed an initial 3 year agreement to sponsor the Grand Prix.

Racing fans from all over the world have come to and enjoyed some of the finest in racing action ever. You can be a part of the excitement on your next visit to Abu Dhabi. You can buy tickets when you get there or if you want to save some money and maybe get a better seat you can find and buy racing tickets online.

You can even check with your travel agency and see about any package deals that may be available. It’s possible that you can find a package that includes admission to a race or races as well as the Ferrari World theme park and the water park all on Yas Marina Island.

You are sure to find lots to do besides watch the races and at the very least you’ll find the opportunity to get some great pictures of the official Formula One Racing track that was built especially for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
