Am i banned in UAE for life?

can my boss ban me for life? i am working in a company for almost 3 years, i haven't done anything wrong or did something in the company that i am working for.

I left Abu-dhabi for a vacation for 2 weeks 10 months before my visa will expired but unfortunately i wasn't able to return to abu dhabi because of personnal problems i had when i was having my vacation and failed to call my employer as well but i have a valid and true reason which i can prove.

After 7 months i was able to contact my employer but he refuse to talk to me and didnt say any words he just put me off while im trying to explain to him. My friend from abu dhabi contact my employer and able to speak to him but he told her that he ban me for life and he did file a case for me.

My question is can he file any case even i am not guilty of anything, even i did not do anything from his company? how and whom i can contact about my situation?

I am trying to go back in abu dhabi this comming end of february 2010 because thats when my ban will be clear.I hope you can give a a clear answer..thank you .....

Kabayan(compatriot).My personal comment & understanding based on you letter is you commited an action falls on ABSENT WITHOUT OFFICIAL LEAVE (AWOL)which is tantamount for immediate cancellation of your employment visa.

The action simply means you are banned for any employment opportunity with in six(6)to(1)one year./ or within that duration.If i was not mistaken.If you try to look at you emploment visa attached inside your passport that clearly written & stated.

Residence Permit becomes invalid if bearer resides out of the UAE for more than six(6)mos.So your employer recommend your employment visa cancelled immediately.Base on my experience.I was givened a banned by the Dubai Court for ONE(1) year after i sued my employer in Labor Court for Illegal Termination.

I won my case.Dubai is the land for opprtunity seeking for greener pasture & serve justice to everybody/s rights regardless of race.You can come back for an employment opportunity after you served your banned period based from the date of duration.Your are not banned for life for such you committed.

you are best served with proper legal advice here. my inclination is because the employer had reason to file action (whether or not it is your fault), then their decision will hold in court. whether they want to listen to your justification or not is their prerogative. it is definitely not an obligation. that said, try to contact them directly through phone, email, snail mail and fax. be polite and plead your case.
