Clarification of visa requirements for Dubai

I need an answer in writing that I can BE SURE as a US citizen I can get a visa stamp upon entry to Dubai.

in my personal experience, and I am a US citizen, it is free to enter Dubai at anytime. they check your passport, stamp it and send you off nicely. what are you so concerned about?

well, I am not sure you will be able to find a guaranteed, written guarantee other than that from the UAE government itself. rules and laws can change in a sheikdom like Dubai, but it has always been pro USA. USA citizens never have issues getting a visa stamp upon arrival.
