Dubai is one of the world’s best golfing destinations.

So if you were considering ever taking a golfing holiday, Dubai is definitely one destination that you should consider.

There are just so many different courses around that it is unconscionable that you not find the perfect course for you to enjoy hours upon hours of golfing.

Truly, it would be amiss to discuss golf courses in Dubai without mentioning the Emirates Golf Club itself.

If you’re a true golf enthusiast, you probably know the name as it Is the location that plays host to the Dubai Desert Classic, one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in the world.

Furthermore, it boasts two championship courses in the form of the Wadi course and the Majlis course, and the classic Bedouin design of the clubhouse itself is as grand as it is beautiful.

If that doesn’t suit your tastes, then perhaps the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club will. As far as the golf courses go, none can match the Dubai Creek in terms of sheer breathtaking wonder as it sits on the shores of the Creek.

With coconut and date palms lining the fairways, as well as water hazards and shrubbery aplenty, this golf course has a unique feel to it and is perfect for a nice relaxing game of golf or two.



Most recently, none other than Tiger Woods himself made an entrance into the world of Dubai golf courses by unveiling his plans for The Tiger Woods Dubai. Initial announcements have revealed it to be an entire residential golf community, with the centerpiece of a 13 million square foot golf course designed by the golfing legend himself.

Once Al-Ruwaya, as the golf course is meant to be called, is unveiled, it will certainly represent an exciting golfing destination for any golf lover.

Another golf legend, Ernie Els, has also been involved in Dubai golf courses and has designed The Dunes, a golf course that is surrounded by the residential area of Victory Heights.

Widely lauded as a wonder among golf courses, it is also located near the Butch Harmon School of Golf, which is one of the best golfing academies in the world. Of course, being located within the Dubai Sports City, it is probably expected that these two golfing facilities are nothing less than excellent.

Truth be told, to list every golf course in Dubai would probably take a large amount of time, but the four above represent some of the most interesting prospects that you, as a golf enthusiast, should definitely explore.

Other Dubai golf courses however offer just as wonderful opportunities for some decent rounds of golf, and no matter where you end up, you can be assured that you will not be disappointed in the slightest by the opportunities that Dubai has to offer.
