The Dubai nightlife is really happening on most days.

There is a considerably large choice of bars and nightclubs in Dubai, many of which you can enjoy till 3am in the morning.

With the exception of Monday when it is pretty dead at almost every bar and club you go to, you can experience the nightlife year round.

Before you head off to the bars and nightclubs in Dubai there are a few things you should know.

Most of the bars that are legally allowed to sell alcohol can only do so if they are in hotels although there are a few small exceptions to this rule.

All nightclubs in Dubai must close at 3am, along with most of the local bars as well.

Also, you must be 21 to drink alcohol, but you must be at least 25 to enter the nightclubs in Dubai and as long as you meet these requirements they are not legally allowed to refuse anyone, even if they are member only clubs.

However, they will charge you if you insist on entering these types of clubs as they are pretty exclusive.

When it comes to Dubai nightlife, women in particular can go pretty much anywhere and have a great time. For Dubai men, there are specific clubs in particular that have the most women to be found. It is quite a mixture of both locals and tourists at most places.

The Alamo at the Dubai Marine Beach Resort and Spa is one of the most popular with the locals. They have live music and a small area to dance. If you are looking for a large disco area that is quite modern and has loud thumping music then the place to go is Atlantis which is located next door to the Hard Rock Café.

With dancing girls, a lively atmosphere, and a young crowd, this is certainly the place with the most tourists and people looking to have a really good time. They even offer ladies nights on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Another hip and happening bar that is highly recommended is Carter’s which is located inside the Pyramid complex. It is a very stylish restaurant that transforms into truly one of the hottest bars in town as the night wears on. You should plan on arriving by 9pm to make sure you get in.

They offer drink specials on most nights, ladies night on Wednesday, and every night has hits of pure oxygen if you are looking for something a little unique. Shorts are not allowed here in the evening hours.

For the final must see bar and nightclub in Dubai you must go to Kasbaa. Located in the Royal Mirage Hotel, this is the place to see and be seen. Set in an Arabic theme, it has three levels of excitement from the dance floor to the outdoor terraces.

It is very upbeat and yet intimate at the same time. There is an entrance charge for non-guests of the hotel but it is quite reasonable. All in all, the Dubai nightlife is definitely worth checking out. From quaint Irish pubs to all out hip dance clubs there is something for everyone to enjoy.
