Here is some information on some beautiful Dubai Towers, some of the famous buildings in Dubai.
These Dubai skyscrapers are not only magnificent in height but also amazing in structure and design.
There are a lot of them to see but here are the top five buildings that you should consider.
One of the famous towers in Dubai is the Burj Khalifa.
It is actually the tallest man-made structure that has ever been built standing 828 meters off the ground. It is comprised of 162 floors and was constructed in 2004 and was opened in 2010.
It serves as a multi-function corporate building. The Burj Khalifa is a project that combines the efforts of a Chicago based company namely Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill as well as Samsung C&T of South Korea.
The cost of construction is estimated to be about $1.5 billion and is part of a flagship development called Downtown Dubai.
The second one of these Dubai towers is the Almas Tower which stands 360 meters in height, has 74 floors, was constructed in 2005 by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre or DMCC and was opened in 2009.
The Almas tower is one of the Dubai infrastructures used solely as an office building.
Third in the list is the Emirates Office Tower.
This particular infrastructure stands 355 meters and is again another office building in Dubai’s business district.
It houses 54 floors and construction was completed in the year 2000. Most of the locals refer to it as Emirates tower one as it is connected to the Jumeirah Emirates Tower Hotel forming what is known as the Emirates Towers Complex.
This is the 19th tallest building in the world.
Fourth in line when it comes to the famous Dubai skyscrapers is the Rose Tower.
This is one of the top five towers that serve as a hotel. The Rose Tower has 72 floors and is 333 meters high. When you visit Dubai, you may hear some of the locals call this building by its official name which is the Rose Rayhaan by Rotana.
Construction for this building was completed in 2007 and it is actually the tallest hotel in the world. Responsible for this building is the Bonyan International Investment Group which invested $180 million in the project.
Finally, the fifth of the famous Dubai towers is The Index which stands 328 meters and houses 80 floors. It is mainly used as an office and residential building.
The way its design works is that the offices and apartments are separated by means of a sky lobby.
