If you know one thing about Dubai it’s probably the hotels in Dubai. This place has some of the best, biggest and most expensive hotels in the world. The Hydropolis hotel which is fully underwater was under construction during my visit to Dubai. I cannot imagine such a hotel and would definitely like to go there one day.

I did get a chance to go to the Burj Al Arab. It is supposed to be the only 7 star hotel in the world. The minimum cost for a room there is $2,000. I was not able to spend a night there but we did go there for dinner. If you want to do dinner there you need an advance reservation and a minimum amount.

It is not cheap let’s just say that. But was it worth it? Very much it really was. The food was average but seeing the hotel and all the gold inside was worth it. I wonder how much it cost them when it was finally built. I have heard that the government of Dubai owns the hotel.

Right next to the Burj there is the Jumeirah beach hotel. We attended a private party here and saw Jay Z and Beyonce. It was a great experience. This is also a beautiful hotel.

From the outside it looks like a small sail boat or a bunch of waives of the sea put together. Then right in front of it is the Burj al Arab which is shaped like a sailboat. The two look very nice together. I took some very nice pictures of each.

If you want an economic hotel, try some of the franchises you know such as Hilton, Marriott etc. If you want good deals consider the hotels in Deira. They are cheaper for the most part. These days you can get a very reasonable deal on hotels in Dubai.

They are not as expensive as people think. There is a lot of competition which is good. But if you really want to experience a nice hotel, consider some of the luxury ones. I can’t wait for the Hydropolis. There is also another Donal Trump hotel coming up. It is called the Atlantis. Read up on that too.
