Hi, Sunil here to discuss online shopping in Dubai

While I have already written about the growing trend of shopping online in the Dubai Online Shopping section, this section is meant to specifically talk about the best Dubai online shopping mall – Ella Mart.

The reason is that since Ella Mart was launched, many other ecommerce websites based in Dubai have cropped up.

The problem is, not all are reliable.

There are just a handful I would trust with my information and the security of it.

Ella Mart is one of them, but I like them the most because they offer the best prices backed up with the best customer service.

Being from the USA, I am used to superb business practices in the online capacity.

However, this method of shopping is just now (post 2007) becoming popular in overseas markets.

Dubai is no different.

I have to say that I was surprised at the experience I had while shopping online with Ella Mart.

There is not much you cannot find on their portal.


From my limited research of its competitors, Ella Mart appears the largest and run by the best management team.

I was pleased to test out their dedicated customer support staff by routing a few inquiries about their business and products.

The response time was very quick. I also asked for a product that I was looking for but did not see on their website.

They politely told me that they don’t currently carry that product, however because I called in they will be purchasing it in the future so I can buy it. That is what I call commitment.

I don’t understand why anyone would not want to shop online. You save fuel, you save the hassle of dressing up and driving to a store, dealing with traffic congestion and what not. Not to mention prices are much cheaper online because websites do not have to deal with rents and utility expenses which are passed on to the customer.
