My boss's whole family will go Dubai during Chinese New Year. Her daughter is holding HK passport and will be expired on May 26, 2010. Is that still ok for her to get land visa together with her family. She's only 7 years old. Pls advise.

no it is not - a passport must NOT expire within 6 months of travel in and out of any country. the best course of action is to renew the passport and then take the trip. why take the chance?

Terry,

Are you asking if its ok to get a visa if the passport is expired? Then the answer is NO! You have to have a valid passport, no matter your age, to get a visa upon arrival at the airport.
