Hi, Sunil here to talk about Yas Island Abu Dhabi and the Ferrari Theme Park!

I heard about this project in 2008 and as of the time I am writing this the park has not been developed.

However I cannot wait for this one as it would definitely climb up immediately on my top things to do in Abu Dhabi list.

I am a big fan of roller coasters and I cannot wait to visit the first theme park in Abu Dhabi.

This will be the first Ferrari World in the whole wide world.

This park will feature all kinds of “Ferrari” attractions so if you like roller coasters like I do you are definitely going to be in for a treat.

This park is located in Yas Island in Abu Dhabi and is supposed to have a 70 meter high G-Force Tower and a twin rollercoaster ride similar to the Gemini at Cedar Point (the world’s biggest roller coaster park in Sandusky Ohio in the United States).

The beauty of this ride is that it makes you feel that you are racing your buddy who is on the opposing train. You both move side by side, sometimes you taking them over and sometimes them getting ahead of you.

And if there are adults accompanying you that don’t quite enjoy the ups and downs of the coasters, the park has a nice museum, numerous movie screens, and several concession stands offering all kinds of junk food and drinks.

Some of the other rides I have read about are the Go Karts and Buggy rides (bump carts) where you can drive, hustle and bustle with others on the racing track.

Speaking of racing tracks, the Ferrari Theme Park will include an international caliber race track.

Don’t get too excited. The track is not for you, unless you are a F1 racer. This track will be used in future professional F1 races and drag racing events as well.



If you are not an F1 racer but would like to train to become one, you can! The Ferrari Theme Park will feature a Ferrari Driving School, can you believe that? Yes, you can actually train to become an F1 racer.

And if you want to schedule a day dedicated only to park activities, I suggest you look into booking a night at the destination hotel overlooking the race track.
