This is Sunil to talk about the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015

Having come from a solid business background I have always been fascinated by the growth of an entity (whether through acquisition, organically or by accident).

There is always some form of method to the madness.

It wasn’t any different for Dubai.

From nowhere to the highlight on the global map, Dubai established its name worldwide in just a handful of years thanks to the ultra ambitious vision of its ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Behind the rapid development of Dubai is the Strategic Plan 2015 document established by the Dubai Government years before Dubai came into the limelight.

This document was spearheaded by no other than Hiss Highness Sheikh Mohammed, who in addition to ruling Dubai is also UAE’s Vice President and Prime Minister.

The extensive plan focuses on 5 core growth areas around which the entire advancement of Dubai rests. These areas are:

• Development of Dubai Economy



• Social Development



• Infrastructure, Land and Development



• Security Justice and Safety



• Government Excellence

The plan concludes with the future, mission and guiding principles.
