The Palm Island Resort

I’d like to tell you about the Palm Island Resort on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.

The Palm Island Resort is a palm shaped structure which holds 17 leaves or fronds.

It holds not only residential units that you can stay in, but commercial establishments that allow you to shop, as well.

Consisting of three Palm islands called Palm Deira, Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Jumeirah, Dubai’s manmade islands are set to hold structures such as hotels, malls and theatres and can hold up to 500,000 people.

The sea structure are anchored on the ocean floor and raised above sea level with over 100 million cubic tons of sand, the palm island has been garnering attention from people all over the world, once again upping Dubai’s status as one of the world’s one of a kind tourist destinations.

The Palm Islands are grouped into three and offer you an extensive variety of amenities and services.

The Palm Jumeirah and the Palm Jebel Ali holds residential spaces such as Signature Villas, Town Homes and Garden Homes that can be rented out to you and your family.

A Palm Jumeirah Villa GH will cost you around $530 for a week-long stay. Most of the villas have 4 bedrooms, 6 toilets and a private pool.

The Dubai Palace which has 6 rooms and 9 toilets cost around $730 for one week and also caters to a private pool. For 1-bedroom apartments, the rates range from $190 – $377 daily or $1300 – $2600 weekly and $4600 – $11000 monthly depending on seasons.

The Palm Deira is the largest island and was the last to have been finished. It holds more than structures and facilities that the island is almost an additional district of Dubai on its own.

While the Island resort caters to health spas, world class hotels and amenities, it also offers you various cuisines for fine dining and other available cultural cuisines to let tourists enjoy the most out of their stay and have an amazing experience that will have them coming back.

Four years of extensive planning and testing took for this ambitious venture to pull through ensuring the feasibility of the Palm Islands and making sure that the project does not make any damage to nature.

The fronds are protected by a 12-kilometer wharf that serves as a breakwater and also houses various establishments such as leisure and entertainment centres and residential units. The Palm Island Resort offers an immense amount of activities for the tourists and residents.

From health spas to sports facilities and diving spots there won’t be a dull moment on the island. Tourists can also enjoy world class entertainment and leisure facilities while staying in luxurious hotels or villas of their choice.

The Palm Island Resort which is a man-made structure that can be seen from the moon has been taking care of a large number of tourists in UAE.

The Palm Island Resort is one of Dubai’s most interesting man-made projects and top tourist destination because of its fascinating date palm tree shape that took years before seeing the light of fruition.
