Visiting Dubai - For the New and Returning Tourist

Whether you are visiting Dubai for the first time, or you are coming back for a return visit, this cosmopolitan metropolis will surely take your breath away. Dubai as you might already know is referred to by many travel experts as the ultimate destination for the casual jetsetter or the adventure seeker.

With its towering skyscrapers, ingenious and unbelievable man-made structures, gigantic malls, sunny deserts, and world-class beaches, you will definitely find something to keep you busy.

Considered as the “global city” of the Middle East, Dubai would certainly leave a favorable and lasting impression to first time visitors, while returning tourists are in for a big surprise.

If you are planning to visit Dubai, it is highly recommended that you visit during the winter months, preferably from November to early March.

More on Dubai weather here.

Dubai is in the Middle East so expect that it has a hot weather most of the year, and summer in Dubai is close to unbearable.

You are a new visitor, which means that you would be spending most of your time sightseeing than staying indoors, so it is better to do it without the scorching heat of the sun.

Before visiting Dubai, it would be best if you have already arranged your accommodation beforehand. Whether you plan to stay with a friend or a relative, an apartment, or a hotel, make sure that you make all the necessary arrangements before arriving to avoid hassle. If you are staying longer in the city, why not try the Dubai hotel apartments?

Hotel apartments are serviced apartment complexes having a hotel style of booking which is similar to renting an apartment without leases or minimum number of nights, so you can check in and leave if you want to. Plus, hotel apartments are generally cheaper than hotels in Dubai. But if you are after the luxury and first class accommodation, then check in the Dubai hotels. There are a lot of hotels to choose from, so just pick one which is within your price range and preference.

Of course, make sure you check out all the must see tourist attractions when you tour Dubai! The city is well known for its assortment of beautiful and exciting places to visit. Go to the Dubai Gold Market in Deira and haggle for high quality gold pieces at a very low price, or go for a Dubai Dhow cruise in the Creek and get a chance to see the Dubai skyline from a different perspective, or experience Dubai nightlife in the bars and nightclubs in the city, or yet go extreme and try sand bashing in the Desert Safari adventure. There is a ton to do.

If you are a returning visitor, one thing is for sure – you are in for a big surprise. Dubai is a fast paced, dynamic city. Because it is ever changing, you are probably going to see something new, a hotel or a bar perhaps, or another out of the ordinary tourist attraction. Check online websites to find out what’s new in the city. Be the first to see the new destinations. Or better yet, this is the time to try out hotels you haven’t checked in yet, beaches you haven’t seen, or anything you haven’t done before. With a multitude of activities and tourist spots that Dubai has to offer, there is surely something that you haven’t tried or seen yet. Visiting Dubai is always worth it! So when is your next trip?
